About Skypoint Recovery: Addiction Treatment Center in Richmond, VA

Skypoint Recovery is an addiction treatment center in Richmond, Virginia, focused on one thing: helping you reclaim your life from substance use with care that is built around you.

Skypoint Recovery serves people across Virginia who are living with substance use disorders. From our location in Richmond, we provide outpatient treatment and recovery housing, and we help people reach the services they need at every stage of recovery.

Addiction is hard on individuals and on the people who love them. We believe it is a treatable condition, and that lifelong recovery is possible. Our team works to understand what you are facing and builds a treatment plan that fits your life, rather than asking you to fit a program.

Our licensed clinicians and recovery professionals bring both skill and compassion to their work. They help you map your own course through treatment, from your first assessment to the support you take with you when a program ends.

If you or someone you love is struggling, reach out. The road to recovery is never walked alone, and we are here to help.

What does Skypoint Recovery offer?

We provide a full continuum of care, so you can move between levels of treatment as your needs change without starting over somewhere new. Here is what we offer in Richmond:

  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): Our most structured level of outpatient care, with treatment for much of the day while you live at home or in recovery housing.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Several sessions a week of group and individual therapy, with room to keep up with work, school, and family.
  • Outpatient Program: Ongoing therapy and support at a lighter pace, often as a step down from PHP or IOP.
  • Recovery housing: Sober living and transitional housing that offer a stable, substance-free place to live while you rebuild routines.
  • Dual diagnosis and specialized care: Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions, a men’s program, and medication-assisted treatment when it is clinically appropriate.
  • Detox and inpatient care through partners: If you need medical detox or residential treatment first, we arrange admission to a trusted partner facility and provide your step-down care when you return.

Your assessment tells us where to start. From there, your care team adjusts your plan as you progress.

Where does Skypoint Recovery serve?

Our program is located on Nine Mile Road in Richmond’s East End. We serve people from the City of Richmond and the surrounding communities, including Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, and the Tri-Cities.

We also welcome people from across Virginia. Some come to Richmond for recovery housing and outpatient care close to our team; others join us after completing detox or inpatient treatment elsewhere. Wherever you live, our admissions team can talk through what would work for you.
